Lush place to visit. So generous on the machines with the tickets. Great vibe and lovely staff. Can't wait to return in the summer :)
Visited for a run out and bit of fun over christmas. A bit sad but was fun. Many places not open. Glad to see them taking advantage of the Gavin and Stacey connection. A nice walk out over the raised grassy area too.
Nice few hours of fun with the family. Even though it was cold and wet we managed the fair and plenty of cafes. There's even dog friendly cafes which is a pleasant change.All in all a travel back in time with a easy day.
People think the fairground is great! Back in the day when Butlins was open ,then it was good! Absolutely packed out loads of rides. But now seems like a deserted parking lot with a few rides on blocks of wood! No thanks
The brilliant Barry island pleasure beach!!. Been visiting here since since a small child. Some great one off shops and one off eating places. Go for a nice walk around the area. Can take your dogs on the beach and a lovely beach it is to !. Can get ice creams on the beach and go for a legendary donkey ride ! . Some nice gift shops plus some cool surf and surf wear shops local to the area. Once again this is a bucket list place to visit ! I will be going here long into my old age!!! So you should as well, go go now !! Get on the fair rides as well !
