Went to this Brewers Fayre pub for a family birthday get together. Disappointed to find you had to order food and drinks from the bar. No table waitress service except to bring the food which didn't all come at the same time due to the delay in placing the orders. Nobody's meal was particularly brilliant and nothing to write home about. No member of staff came to ask if our group were OK and happy with our food. To order dessert you again ha to go to the bar to order. Huge modern place but no atmosphere. It was a Saturday evening and the place was not even half full. Not a pub restaurant that I would feel I could recommend.

Waited ages for someone to offer us a table, when seated we were sat there at least 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, we were not even asked what we would like to drink. No one came over so we left. The place wasn't particularly busy and seemed to be lots of staff there, would not recommend.

We deliberately sat in the Adults area for a quiet drink. Shortly after we sat down with our drinks two women with three children walked in and sat on the next table to us.I questioned it with the Barman who openly admitted that they don't enforce the rule. If that's the case, why have an Adult only sign?Needles to say we went elsewhere to eat and certainly won't be back.

Had a very thin burger and fries here earlier today and it was rare pink in the middle! I complained only to be told that it was because it was so thick?? Eh it was wafer thin! Anyway they brought back 2 burgers in a bun and a mound of fries! Nice but my stomach hasn't been right all night after taken a bite of rare meat. Come on brewers fayre I'm not a cannibal. And my stomach is not right. Thanks again

The food was scrumptious, hot and good portions. I'm giving 5 stars because of the customer service we received from Carl, he's fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for him to ensure you have a great time. I hope management read this and recognise him accordingly.
