After scouring the net for a BMW 420d Coupe I found the perfect spec on offer at Howe Motors. Spoke to Andy who was very helpful and agreed a PX price for my car over the phone, so I paid a refundable holding deposit and after a near 3 hour drive to see the car I turned up 2 days later. The car was presented in superb condition, better than I was expecting. After a short test drive the deal was done. A small family business with attention to detail and overall a very pleasant buying experience. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Delighted with car bought from these guys some months ago. The service received and the people we met, who work there, were first rate. As it was a Sunday and we had to wait while another customer was being attended to and we walked into and around the workshop which was not in use at the time. As an engineer myself one can not help but take a look at a workshop when the opportunity is there! Was very impressed by the whole set up: the neat and efficient lay out and the condition of the tools and equipment. It was obvious that it was a serious and very professional set up. A good workman always looks after his tools. So I am very happy to recommend Howe Motors to any customers thinking of buying a car. Both the salesman and the lads working in the yard, were very friendly, accommodating and most helpful.
Amazing day with the guys at Howe motors! From the moment we arrived we were well looked after, my wife and baby both welcomed into the office to relax and stay warm, offered tea and coffee as well. Great selection of cars available as well. really professionalset up too. The test drive was excellent, guided around the sights of Barry and given a chance to try the cars out and the features. While waiting for the paperwork to be completed they recommended places to eat and shop while we waited and even provided directions,then phoned very promptly to inform is that the car was ready to collect and not to rush!Massive thanks to Gareth and Andy for the help and such prompt service!!

Bought a BMW 3 series Msport after visiting the first time the customer service wasn't great but gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was the car I wanted and they had reduced the vehicle by 500 even tho the first visit there was no negeotiation. Bought the car and was very happy with it apart from the colour of the wheels that were put on by Howe Motors, bought the car in November 2017 and decided to refurbish the alloys to another colour begining of may 2018, when the car was taken in to have the wheels change they phoned me to say that the incorrect wheel sizes were on the axle as it's a BMW the wider wheels 255/35/19 on rear and 225/40/19 on the front however these had been installed 255 on the nearside of the car and the 225 on the offside of the vehicle meaning this was dangerous and an MOT failure! Also caused uneven wear on all the tyres costing me 500 to replace, that wasn't the only problem as they could get the wheels off at all as they had been overtightened this car went to 3 garages to get the wheels off due to this overtightened wheel nuts costing me 170 for the labour and the new wheel nuts as they had be stretched due to the over tightening by Howe motors. Spoke to trading standards and emailed Andrew the manager several times for solution or compensation however only replied once and only when threatened with the consumer act! No replies to any other correspondence from Howe motors and I am out of pocket almost 700 because of the neglect of this garage and the installation of the alloy wheels. I would avoid this garage as there customer service is horrendous and once the car is off the forecourt they don't care. If you do buy a car from them I would recommend getting it checked by a professional to ensure it is safe and all wheels are correctly installed.
