Great fish, good price, chips are slightly underdone but okay
Has to be my favourite fish and chip shop in the Vale, never had a bad meal, staff are friendly and generous, nothing but praise for this establishment.
Update: Haddock here is the best. You'll wait 10-15 mins and 20 on a busy day but it's the tastiest and biggest in any chipshop in Barry.Fantastic portions. The food is lovely and not greasy like some chip shops. The sausage and batter was a little dry for being unsold for a while and the fish cake wasn't that fresh but all in all it was a good catch.
We asked locally for the best on Barry Island. Big queue said it all. Good chippy. Lots of variety on the menu too.
The queue alone is indicative of its quality. Reasonable pricing plus good quality means it is worthy of a return at some point. Parking available on street just opposite means easy access.
