Nice place very good breakfast bar 24hr

Good price, clean and nice staff...

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, they made our stay here as good as anywhere else I've ever been! A huge thank you to all of them! The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. They have a hairdryer in the room, a definite plus for me. Also there is an iron and a small tabletop ironing board, which is all you need for ironing those packing creases out of a blouse, or whatever. There is also tea and coffee making facilities. There wasn't much milk on the tea tray, but that was easily remedied by a short trip to reception, I came back fully loaded! Attention to the details of cleanliness could be improved a little, the tea tray was very dusty on arrival, the table beside the bed was very dusty and there were ring marks from a glass or cup. The skirting board shelf under the window was also very dusty, as was the floor of the wardrobe and the skirting board behind the bed hadn't had a duster on it for a long time. There was also someone's toe nail, just beside the bed. All of these things are very easily remedied and can be done in the space of about 5 minutes. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. The sheets and towels were changed every day and the bathroom was spotless. The tea tray was refilled every day too.Overall a very good stay and I would thoroughly recommend the Celtic International Hotel to one and all. All the staff would bend over backwards to be helpful

We stayed here as a family, 2 adults, 2 small children and booked a family room. Hotel lovely and clean, smart and room size brilliant. However, our room was positioned directly above the kitchens and from 8pm onwards the noise was ridiculous. We could hear all of the conversations, the cleaning, banging... Absolute nightmare, especially as we had to get up for 230am. We must've had around an hour and a half sleep if that as the doors in the hall are also close to our room and banged every time someone went in or out. As it is so close to the airport, the location would've been ideal but I wish we had stayed home and travelled instead as we would have had a lot more sleep!

Pros - cheapest in the area, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Cons - heating (freezing when off boiling when on), bed was on wheels and moved when you sat down and also we somehow managed to push it away from the wall in the night. Not enough electricity points (2 in the whole room). The whole place looked like it needed a refurb and some things were clearly the way they were with cost in mind rather than guest comfort. All in all good for a cheap one night stay. Wouldn't be a comfortable stay for longer than that
