I WILL NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN. I am actually in Room 23 as I type this, and I've not slept for about 5 hours as there are loud mouthed, rude, drunk contractors LITERALLY walking around the hotel basically shouting at the tops of their voices. Even after calling the reception to get them to do something about this (on my own phone might I add, they have no phones in the rooms) nothing has stopped the problem. Last week I was in a different room (Room 10), AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The windows are single paned, drafty, and the radiator also doesn't work. My partner and I had to sleep in jumpers it was so cold. All of the floorboards are uneven and creaky, and you're lucky to get hot water within 10 mins of running the tap. Good luck getting a parking space also, as there is room for about 10 cars, if that. And that's if some selfish so & so doesn't decide to park like a t*** and block you in. Otherwise it's circling the surrounding streets for you. The only reason this wasn't a 1 star review, is because the beds are genuinely comfy, and the staff are very lovely. They did try, but unfortunately they don't seem to have the support to rectify this hotel's many problems. Otherwise, avoid this place at all costs unless you want a sleepless, freezing cold night.
It's a budget hotel so align your expectations accordingly rooms are compact but pretty much up to date ! Would check availability of bar and restaurant's as we'rent available during my stay staff super helpful x
Great place clean and tidy and friendly staff, the only reason for the 4 star rating was when I booked I specified tjat I was going to be using a travel cot for my son and the room we were put in was barely big enough and as it was late when we checked in we just wanted to get our heads down this is my second stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would recommend to anyone
Great place to stay, clean modern rooms. Staff very friendly. All amenities within a 2minute walk. Ideal location. Been staying here for over a month now with work.
