Porthkerry Park and beach, a lovely park and beach right next door to Barry Island, its a good day out if your in the area.
Very pretty large park on the edge of Barry. Great place for a walk with your dog, or to just get some alone time. In the summer it's a good place for families and outdoor activities.
Very nice park with a nice coffee shop. I did visit out of season so it was quiet, but imagine it would be beautiful on a summer's day.The only criticism that I have is that there were no maps of any walks. There are sign posts for public footpaths but these are not clear.The place is very dog friendly (I did not go with a dog, but there were plenty of people with dogs there).
Beautiful country park on the beach Ideal for dog walking ,family day out or hiking along the coast. The beach is all pebbles when the tide is in but there is some sand at low tide. There's a small children's play park,a cafe and small golf course so it's great when sunny.
Beautiful country park that literally has a bit of everything. Green fields for park games and family picnics. Great for dog walks. A lovely cafe to enjoy a coffee, brekkie/lunch or even an ice cream. A beautiful pebble beach to watch the tide come in, some lovely coastal walks. Woodland walking through Mill wood with a few sites of historical interest along the way. The very impressive 16 arch viaduct you can walk around and a lovely play area for the kids.
