Bill loved it here (he hated the last place he stayed at) and came home happy and settled. Would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thanks again!

We checked our kitten into Longcroft for a few nights which is run by Sarah. The service is absolutely incredible - we received regular updates and photos which meant we were able to relax and not worry at all whilst away. We were worried he might be a little upset when we had him back but actually he was very relaxed and happy. Will definitely be using this service again :) thank you!

Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Barry Island is utterly outstanding! Sarah went above and beyond to look after our little monster, Link. This was our first time boarding Link at Longcroft, and we were anxious as Link had previously had a dreadful experience at another larger cattery, his first time away, where he was very visibly distressed when we collected him, cowering in the corner. We vowed this time to choose a small cattery or cat hotel were he would be better looked after.Sarah put us at ease straight away. She's very obviously passionate about cats, and very caring, and she understood our concerns and anxiety due to Link's previous experience. The rooms at Longcroft are in a lovely location in a garden with trees and a sea view. The rooms themselves are spotless and are very cosy and homely, with a radiator in the sleeping area to keep your cat toasty and warm. There are plenty of soft surfaces to lay on, as well as a very high quality cat tree for your cat to climb up and enjoy the view outdoors, as well as to eyeball any neighbouring feline friends or enemies.Link is quite a shy cat when it comes to strangers, but within a day Sarah had him purring and even had headbutts! Unheard of!He also didn't have any issues eating, which was another one of our concerns. We were in regular daily contact with Sarah via WhatsApp messages and photos during Link's five day stay, and this allowed us to be truly relaxed when we saw and heard how Link was getting on.When we arrived to collect Link from Longcroft he was perky and happy looking and did not want to get into his carrier to come home, unlike the previous cattery where he got into his carrier himself without any coercion! He has obviously had an amazing time and had bonded with Sarah. We received a goody bag on departure also, and that was a nice added touch.Longcroft may be a touch more expensive than some other catteries, although only by a few quid really, but trust me it is totally worth it to know your cat, a member of your family, is being looked after with the utmost of care, and personalised care at that.We now need not fear any future holidays away, as we know Link is going to be looked after and spoiled by his Aunty Sarah. Thanks so much.

Longcroft Is of a very high standard. Facilities are excellent. Sarah is passionate about cats and this is evident when you meet her. Mitsy was happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Sarah and will certainly be using her on future.

Longcroft is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The rooms are a lovely size and have great views of garden and sea. Trixie was so well looked after and Sarah sent photos to show us how she was getting on. Worth the money for peace of mind!
