Impossible to get a same day doctor's appointment. Over 130 attempts to get through from 8am and the only appointment they could/would offer me is in 11 days time!
I've been a patient here for several years. The antenatal and postnatal care I received was excellent. Whenever I've called because my son has been ill, I've had efficient and friendly advice. GPs have called me back when they said they would and have helped me navigate what can be a challenging booking practice (reason for four rather than five stars!). It's a busy practice, the NHS' primary health services are under increasing pressure and the staff cope admirably well with the stresses I imagine that can bring.
Have been ringing every day for 2 weeks.Need to have a medical form filled in for our adoption application. Told constantly no appointments, and now today told none for a month. No sympathy from staff, very abrupt and not willing to help. This service costs 85 so its not like we are asking for something for free. Our whole adoption approval could be cancelled and a child waiting for a family will be delayed further in foster care. Disgusting service, complaint being written today
I can't complain about the doctors at West Quay as the ones I have seen have been very helpful but trying to get an appointment is now beyond a joke! This morning I tried continually for 45 minutes and over 400 calls and still didn't get through! Please sort it out!
They take anything between 30min and 1hour to pick the phone up. Then all the appointments for the day are gone. Awful experience every time I have to ring. Last time I had to go to the desk and beg for an appointment at 8:30 when they open. A rude new receptionist told me to ring the following day and showed zero emotions when I showed my 97 calls that same morning.However, doctors and nurses are exceptional and very professional. So are the receptionist, I am sure, but this system is NOT working.
